Why I am raising money for the UFW

Cesar Chavez was an American hero. He made a difference in the world--especially to farm workers. He was responsible for them getting basic rights. He fought to get rid of the most dangerous pesticides. In fact he banned DDT in UFW contracts 2 years before the federal government. He taught me that one person can make a difference by uniting with others.

Cesar was more than a farm worker leader. He was an American leader. His legacy, like the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., continues to educate, inspire and empower people from all walks of life. He is a role model for all Americans and for generations to come.

Cesar Chavez said, "When you have people together who believe in something very strongly...things happen." Help me make things happen.

Please help me in my goal of raising money to help farm workers win basic rights and dignity. By joining together and making a small donation we can make a difference for these people who work so hard to put food on our table.

Si Se Puede!

Please help me in my goal of raising money to help farm workers win basic rights and dignity. Cesar Chavez' UFW is leading this fight for the men, women and children who toil in the fields. I want to be part of making it happen. Cesar's birthday is March 31. Celebrate his life's work by making a donation today!
