Tell Congress it’s time to take EPA back

As the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Scott Pruitt is making decisions that ignore science, threaten the health of families and benefit giant corporations. This is unacceptable.

Pruitt has already rolled back, delayed or undermined more than 50 health and environmental safeguards. He reversed a planned ban of the brain-harming insecticide chlorpyrifos. This decision means millions of farm workers, their children and rural families will continue to be exposed to 7-8 million pounds of this brain-harming insecticide every single year. In addition, at Monsanto’s request, the EPA gave the go-ahead for continued use of Monsanto’s herbicide dicamba next season while farmers reel from 3.6 million acres of crop losses it caused.

It’s time for Congressional leaders to step in and remind Pruitt he works for the people of the US, not for the corporations. Sign our petition today urging Congress to take EPA’s reins from Monsanto and Dow and provide real oversight. Before the end of the month, the coalition we are part of will deliver your signature to the leaders of the House and Senate, plus every committee member responsible for EPA oversight.
